Profflow · the long version
Every figure, and the arithmetic under it
Ch. 01 · Where it goes
Shopify reports the first figure and stops. Everything below is subtracted before a cent reaches you, and none of it is optional.
Meta, Google, TikTok. The one cost most owners do subtract — and usually against revenue rather than margin.
What the item cost you, plus what it cost to get it to the buyer. Packaging counts.
Stripe, Klarna, PayPal, Shopify. Small percentages on every order, invisible until they are summed.
The order that came back. Revenue counted it, your bank did not.
In Europe it is inside the price, not added to it. Treat gross as revenue and every margin you calculate is wrong.
Ch. 02 · A month, daily
Every day, not every month
A monthly total hides the days that lost money. This is the screen you get — switch the range, then pick any day to see how its number was reached.

Not revenue — net profit, month by month, after everything. The gap between the two lines is what the month actually cost you.

Ch. 04 · VAT
Built here, not ported here
US tools add sales tax on top and call the rest revenue. In the EU it is already in the price — and the rate depends on where the buyer is.
VAT by destination · this month
€1,051 of what looked like revenue was never yours.
EU OSS threshold
€4,710
of the €10,000 cross-border limit
Cross it and you must charge each buyer’s national rate. Profflow tells you before you get there, not after.

This runs the identical calculation the dashboard runs — not a marketing approximation of it.

Competitor figures taken from their own public pricing pages, checked on 12 August 2026. Plans change — tell us at hello@profflow.co if anything here is out of date and we will correct it. Logos and names are the property of their owners and are shown here to identify what is being compared.
Ch. 07 · Starting
No install queue, no approval wait, no demo call.
Email and a password. Nothing else.
From your Shopify admin. We never write to your store.
COGS, shipping, payment fees, fixed costs.
Not an ad platform. It reads your spend, it does not buy media.
Not an accountant. It prepares the figures, it does not file your returns.
Not a CRM, and it never will be.
Not multi-touch attribution. If that is what you need, Triple Whale does it better.
Ch. 08 · Begin
Connect the store read-only and the first real number is two minutes away. Nothing is charged for 14 days, and the price after them is the one you were shown.
